A Public Sector client is seeking an HR Consultant to offer administrative support for the efficient processing of travel claims submitted by internal members attending training courses

Mandatory requirements

  • Proficiency in both English and French, with the ability to communicate orally and in writing in both official languages without assistance and with minimal error. Proficiency includes the ability to convey information clearly, understand written and oral communications, and respond appropriately in both languages
  • At least twenty-four months’ experience providing client service support within the last five years

General Tasks

  • Travel Claim Processing:
    Receive, review and processing travel claims
    Ensure that all required documentation is included and that claims are accurate and complete
  • Policy Compliance:
    Ensure claims conform to relevant policies, directives, and regulations governing travel expenses
  • Communication and Coordination:
    Provide guidance to member on the proper completion of travel claims and address any questions or concerns they may have regarding the process.
    Liaise with other administrative teams and units to ensure consistent service to verify travel details, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate smooth processing of claims.
  • Recordkeeping:
    Maintain accurate records of all processed claims and supporting documentation for auditing purposes and future reference.
  • Other Administrative Duties as Required:
    Support special projects related to the improvement of claims management systems and administrative workflows.
    Ensure adherence to confidentiality and security protocols in handling sensitive recruit information.
    Participate in team meetings to align efforts with accordant priorities.
