The Department of National Defence (DND) requires the services of a Senior Software Architect for the Implementation of the FAcT Training System.
Mandatory requirements
- A degree/diploma in computer science, information technology, or information management OR 5 years of experience as a Software Architect
- A UX-PM1 Certification Certificate OR equivalent;
- Five years of demonstrated experience in program management within the last decade, specifically in overseeing Major Capital Projects that implemented a Learning Management System (LMS) and a Learning Content Management System (LCMS) in an Application Architect role;
- Five years of demonstrated experience within the last decade using either Transact SQL or PL/SQL, and proficiency in either VBA, VBScript, or JavaScript programming languages.
General tasks
- Produce analyses, synopses, Records of Decisions (RODs), workflows, presentations, documents, and spreadsheets for FAcT meetings;
- Deliver system architecture, FAcT LAN/WAN infrastructure, IT hardware and software analyses, synopses, Records of Decisions (RODs), workflows, presentations, documents, and spreadsheets for engagements with stakeholders and System Integrators (SI);
- Training and Data Analytics, Data Plan and Integration with Other Systems, System Architecture, FAcT Local Area Network (LAN) / Wide Area Network (WAN) and IT Hardware & Software;
- System Architecture, Integrated Master Plan, Integrated Master Schedule and Issue Resolution Deliverables;
