Public Sector client a has a requirement for an Intermediate Procurement resource
Mandatory requirements
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of federal procurement experience
- Must have an Intermediate Language Proficiency
General tasks
- Preparing and reviewing various types of bid/contract documents such as Requests for Proposals, sole source contracts, amendments, Task
Authorization - Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Reviewing and advising clients on Statements of work to ensure they comply with procurement regulations
- Working with clients to develop bid evaluation criteria
- Evaluating bids against mandatory requirements
- Negotiating pricing, delivery, etc. prior to award
- Recommending the award of contracts
- Provide guidance to the client to ensure that policies, processes and guidelines are adhered to in accordance with Public Safety (PS) and Public Service Procurement Canada (PSPC) contracting rules, regulations/processes
- Providing advice regarding potential procurement strategies and post-contractual issues
- Reporting of procurement activities
- Participating in procurement meetings as well as note taking/minutes during said meetings
