Public Sector client a has a requirement for an Intermediate Procurement resource

Mandatory requirements

  1. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of federal procurement experience
  2. Must have an Intermediate Language Proficiency

General tasks

  1. Preparing and reviewing various types of bid/contract documents such as Requests for Proposals, sole source contracts, amendments, Task
    Authorization
  2. Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  3. Reviewing and advising clients on Statements of work to ensure they comply with procurement regulations
  4. Working with clients to develop bid evaluation criteria
  5. Evaluating bids against mandatory requirements
  6. Negotiating pricing, delivery, etc. prior to award
  7. Recommending the award of contracts
  8. Provide guidance to the client to ensure that policies, processes and guidelines are adhered to in accordance with Public Safety (PS) and Public Service Procurement Canada (PSPC) contracting rules, regulations/processes
  9. Providing advice regarding potential procurement strategies and post-contractual issues
  10. Reporting of procurement activities
  11. Participating in procurement meetings as well as note taking/minutes during said meetings
