Senior Business Analyst Bilingual

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for a Bilingual Senior Business Analyst with an active Secret security clearance.

Mandatory requirements

  • A degree/diploma in  computer science, information technology, information management;
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate/Equivalent.
  • Five years of demonstrated experience within the last decade in producing Government of Canada and Treasury Board project approval documents and presentations for Major Capital Projects exceeding $5M. This includes creating Project Briefs, Project Charters, Statements of Requirements (SOR), Business Cases, Investment Plan Change Proposals (IPCP), PRICIE, and Project Complexity and Risk Analysis (PCRA).
  • Five years of demonstrated experience using Microsoft Project within the last decade.
  • Have an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certificate/Equivalent.
  • Five years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within the last decade.
  • Five years of demonstrated experience within the last decade working with a Learning Management System (LMS) in an administrative capacity (not solely as a student).
  • Five (5) years in the past ten (10) years of combined and demonstrated experience using the IBM Doors requirements application and Microsoft Visio.

General Tasks

  • Analyse information and timelines derived from meetings and the Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Participate in IM/IT OIWG Sub-Working Group Meeting
  • Develop Presentation(s), create schedules and budget forecasts and provide consultation(s
  • Capture feedback and provide guidance and technical recommendations.
  • Analyse information and timelines derived from meetings against FAcT IM/IT Requirements using DOORS.
  • Develop Presentation(s) and provide consultation(s) with the FAcT Performance Management Team, ADM(IM)/Directorate Human Resources Information Management (DHRIM), Defence Learning Network (DLN), and Other Stakeholders.
