The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the continued provision of maintenance and support services for the ULTools application. The BSA2 must demonstrate the highest levels of customer service, technical knowledge and productivity.
Mandatory requirements
- A two-year college-level certificate in computer science combined with a minimum of 36 months of experience in software development or software maintenance or a minimum of 60 months of experience as a Business Analyst with emphasis on delivery of Information Management/Information Technology enterprise software applications.
- Minimum of 60 months of experience in military flight planning and scheduling experience.
- Minimum of 48 months of experience in an Information Technology (IT) environment as a business analyst or a systems analyst or a systems trainer or a technical support specialist.
- Minimum of 48 months of demonstrated experience in the analysis of requirements, document writing, conducting briefings to senior leadership/management and dealing with stakeholders.
- Minimum of 12 months experience as Team Lead for the implementation of a resource, qualification and currency scheduling capability/software at a minimum of one (1) site or as a participating member for two (2) site implementations.
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in developing test plans and conducting testing of software solutions.
Optional requirements
- Minimum of 48 months of experience in a military flight operation, as a civilian or as a military member.
- Minimum of 24 months of demonstrated experience in flight planning and scheduling experience.
- Possess 12 months experience as Team Lead for the implementation of a resource, qualification and currency scheduling capability/software at a minimum of one site or a participating member for two (2) site
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in developing test plans and conducting testing of software solution
- Minimum of 24 months of experience in previous customer service or phone support experience.
- 24 months experience in the development of training plans and delivering training to users allowing the use of the network and related software.
- Minimum 36 months experience developing procedures to ensure data integrity in the database and devise data structures to support them
- Must have experience with Microsoft SQL Technology and understanding of relational database systems:
- SQL Server 2000 and up.
- SQL Database Management.
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Various versions of the Microsoft Windows Operating System.
- Experience in working in a classified environment.
General Tasks
- Provides on-site support and on-site assistance as requested by the TA during the set-up, installation, configuration, integration, implementation, testing and deployment of the Software.
