Infrastructure Canada (INFC) requires a resource to create web pages using HTML5, including graphics and general website design, on Infrastructure Canada’s external website and internal/intranet website.
Mandatory requirements
- 7 years of experience with HTML conversion of reports;
- 7 years of experience with Website Development;
- 3 years of experience in customizing GCWeb Theme internet page templates to meet Federal Government business requirements;
- 2 years of experience building content in Dreamweaver;
- 5 years of experience, within the last 10 years developing websites that conform to the latest Government of Canada Standard on Web Accessibility, the Standard on Web Usability and the Standard on Web Interoperability;
General tasks
- Create web pages including graphics and general website design;
- HTML5 coding deliverables might include:
- Parliamentary committee briefing binders (English/French. Approx 50-100 Word pages each);
- Corporate reports, such as the Departmental Plans, Quarterly Financial Reports (QFR), and Financial statements: Ongoing, of varying lengths;
- Program applications guide: Ongoing, of varying lengths
