The Office of the Judge Advocate General (OJAG) requires for Senior Project Manager to manage the continued development and
subsequent implementation of JAIMS, using a comprehensive roadmap plan that maximizes existing budgetary and human resource allocations aligned to the identified business requirements provided by the Technical Authority (TA).
Initial: 4 years
Mandatory requirements
- Minimum of 120 months of work experience in the last 180 months as a Software Development and Implementation Project Manager
- Minimum of 24 months of experience in the last 60 months with Agile Software Development methodology.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree from a Canadian University or College or international institution (or international equivalency) in one of the following fields of study:
- Information Technology;
- Software Development and Management;
- Software Engineering;
- Computer Science.
- Possess Project Management certification.
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in the last 36 months with Microsoft 365 Dynamics Environment
- More than 15 years of experience working as a Project Manager
- More than 4 years of Agile methodology experience
- Master’s Degree offered by a Canadian institution (or international equivalency) in any of these
fields:- Information Technology;
- Software Development Management;
- Software Engineering;
- Computer Science;
- Business Administration
General tasks
- Review all provided on-boarding documents.
- Meet and Liaise with JAIMS Project Stakeholders
- Conduct an Independent Assessment of Existing JAIMS Project Schedule
- Conduct an Independent Assessment of Existing JAIMS Resource Allocation
- Review the JAIMS Roll-Out Plan
- Monitor the Implementation of the JAIMS Roll-Out Plan
- Maintain Information Management Practices
- Support OJAG Response to Requests for JAIMS related information
