The Department of National Defence (DND) requires a Senior Web Architect to design, build and administer SharePoint sites for Director General Land Equipment Program Management (DGLEPM) within SharePoint 2019 and Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint. The tasks include identifying user requirements, building an initial concept and final design, assisting with the rollout and providing support to the
implementation of the new site.

Mandatory requirements

  1. University degree/diploma/certificate in one of the following:
    1. Website Development;
    2. Computer Programming or
  2. 10 years in the last 15 years experience related to computer website support and design.
  3. 10 years within the last 15 years of experience in programming, developing, maintaining and designing the architecture* of SharePoint.
  4. (36) months experience within the last sixty (60) months troubleshooting SharePoint using the following:
    • SharePoint Designer (SPD) in a version no earlier than 2016; and
    • Nintex; and
    • Office suite and MS InfoPath in a version no earlier than 2016; or
    • Microsoft PowerApps and InfoPath
  5. Microsoft Certification in related field

General tasks

  1. Gather requirements from the respective designated DGLEPM Section Officers of Primary Interest (OPIs);
  2. Develop and prepare diagrammatic plans for SharePoint 2019 and Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint for review by Section OPIs to review and validate;
  3. Execute the creation of the final approved design plan for SharePoint 2019 and Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint on the server;
  4. Monitor/track design stability IAW post-implementation plan;
  5. Support the implementation of the DGLEPM SharePoint Site;
  6. Provide administration of the Site;
  7. Prepare the handover for knowledge transfer and ongoing support, especially before the end of the Contract.
