Procurement Specialist

DND requires help of a Procurement specialist to provide support to the common CF equipment.

Mandatory requirements

Minimum of 36 months of combined experience, within the last 96 months, performing seven (7) or more out of the following (14) tasks:

  1. Prepare technical statements of requirements and draft specifications and purchasing descriptions
  2. Review disposal certificates, make recommendations for disposal, update maintenance handbooks, parts list and operating manuals
  3. Investigate Unsatisfactory Condition Reports (UCRs) and Technical Failure Reports (TFRs)
  4. Define standards and criteria related to equipment or systems maintenance
  5. Review and update materiel/equipment specifications
  6. Prepare, modify or update specifications and drawings
  7. Prepare, modify or update Technical Instructions and Orders
  8. Perform configuration management
  9. Evaluate existing systems
  10. Perform analysis of maintenance, repair and overhaul data
  11. Prepare data for initial provisioning and repair parts scaling
  12. Prepare repair procedures, maintenance schedules and technical data
  13. Prepare support cost option analysis for systems and equipment
  14. Advise on the disposition of obsolete Technical Publications

24 months of combined experience, within the past 96 months, performing four (4) or more out of the following seven (7) tasks in an Enterprise Resource Management system (e.g. SAP, DRMIS):

  1. Manage material stock holding
  2. Catalogue parts
  3. Set up parts scaling in the supply system
  4. Manage a Repair & Overhaul Program
  5. Generate Stock Overview reports
  6. Create equipment checklists
  7. Manage parts and equipment disposal activities

  17. Advise on the disposition of obsolete CFTOs, Technical Publications and equipment
  18. Perform the following tasks in SAP:

  20. Cataloguing new or modified equipment, subsystems or parts
  21. Developing and maintaining equipment checklists
  22. Set up parts scaling in the supply system
  23. Manage parts on Repair & Overhaul program
  24. Generate stock overview reports
  25. Manage parts and equipment disposal activities
