Public Sector client requires Privacy Analysts to be substantial contributors to Cybersecurity and Risk Management Branch (the Branch) by delivering expertise to privacy related initiatives as assigned by the Branch
Mandatory requirements
- Experience of direct responsibility for the development
and delivery of Privacy Impact Assessments for a complex and/or multi-system technology solution within the last 5 years - Experience with Federal and Provincial privacy laws and requirements
Optional requirements
- Experience with Federal and Saskatchewan privacy laws and requirements
- Experience developing and delivering Privacy Impact Assessments at a Provincial
and/or Federal government level - Experience utilizing a privacy-by-design approach (or equivalent) to participating in the design and implementation of a solution
- Experience contributing to the design and assessment of solutions that include
biometrics - Experience performing research and analysis used to inform recommendations to
advance privacy protection - Experience reviewing project proposals, initiatives and proof of concepts to identify
information access and privacy issues and opportunities (e.g. duplication of data, security and privacy, enhance the quality and use of information) - Experience with information security policies, standards, methods, and best practices
- Experience developing and independently managing work plans and project schedules, providing excellent customer service skills, and ensuring client needs are managed
effectively - Completed education and/or work experience in areas such as Business
Administration, Computer Science, and/or a related field and/or privacy related certification(s)
General tasks
- Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments
- Performing Privacy Maturity Model Assessments, if/when requested
- Providing guidance to the Branch and its clients on privacy legislation and requirements
- Supporting breach responses for incidents involving privacy
- Conducting privacy focus groups and/or information sessions
- Liaise with Access and Privacy Officers to further strengthen maturity
- Creating and reviewing privacy policies and procedures, if/when necessary
- Preparing and delivering privacy training, if/when necessary
- Other privacy-related tasks as determined through engagement in future initiatives
