A Public Sector client is seeking an Application/Software Architect to support a Web Content Management System (WCMS). The role involves designing, developing, and implementing administration tools and workflow processes, as well as performing an upgrade of the enterprise OpenText (formerly Interwoven) WCMS. The contractor is expected to work remotely and be available for in-office presence upon request.
Mandatory requirements
- Must have Interwoven TeamSite Administrator certificate.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT environment as an Application Architect.
- 2+ years of development experience with each of the following programming languages within the last 5 years: XML, HTML5, JQuery, C# .NET, JavaScript, CSS.
- 2+ years of development experience within the last 5 years with each of the following OpenText (formerly Interwoven) products: TeamSite V16 or higher, Open Deploy V16 or higher, Workflow Modeler V16 or higher.
- Installation and configuration of 3 (three) production implementations of OpenText (formerly Interwoven) TeamSite (V16 or higher) and Open Deploy (V16 or higher).
- 2+ years of experience within the last 5 years, developing applications using Java within the OpenText (formerly Interwoven) TeamSite environment.
Optional requirements
- 4+ years development experience with each of the following Programming Languages:
- XML
- HTML
- C# .NET
- JavaScript
- CSS.
- 4+ years development experience with each of the following OpenText products (TeamSite, Open Deploy and Workflow Modeler).
- 4+ years experience with developing applications with Java within the OpenText Teamsite environment.
- 3+ years experience with integrating OpentText Teamsite with external APIs.
General tasks
- Installing and configuring OpenText (formerly Interwoven) TeamSite.
- Architecting and designing web-based components from requirements (use cases).
- Developing and implementing administration tools as required.
- Upgrading the WCMS (TeamSite) to the latest vendor-supported version on a cloud or data center environment.
- Troubleshooting issues reported by website owners and the Quality Assurance Group.
- Providing all necessary Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) documentation.
- Delivering ongoing project status reports to the development lead.
