A Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Life Cycle Material Management (LCMM) Specialist to oversee the lifecycle management of diverse equipment fleets and systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in material management, technical analysis, and operational support for complex systems.
Mandatory requirements
- Must have a minimum of 72 months of combined experience within the past 120 months performing the tasks listed in the section ”General Tasks” in government departments, agencies, or the private defense industry.
- Must have a minimum of 72 months of combined experience within the past 120 months utilizing SAP and/or relevant client systems for Material Management (MM) Module operations.
- Fluent English
Optional requirements
- Diploma/Degree/master’s in aerospace/mechanical/electrical computer fields.
- Must have at least 72 months of combined experience within the past 120 months performing LCMM tasks in Public Sectors or Private Industry. This includes experience with a wide range of equipment and systems, including military, transportation, communications, and technology, as well as supporting services like power generation and water purification. Ideally, the candidate will have experience across all these areas.
- Must have a minimum of 72 months experience within the last 120 months providing technical support towards equipment management in Public Sector
General Tasks
- a) Monitoring fleet quantities and equipment conditions;
- b) Coordinating systems/equipment support activities;
- c) Assisting in the analysis and resolution of technical and logistical issues;
- d) Managing technical data and completing cataloguing;
- e) Preparing life-cycle cost estimates;
- f) Developing and actioning divestment plan;
- g) Preparing declarations of surplus;
- h) Reviewing disposal certificate; and
- i) Establishing In-Svc Contract.
