A Private Sector client client is seeking an experienced Application/Software Architect to support the upgrade, development, and integration of their enterprise Web Content Management System (WCMS) based on OpenText TeamSite (formerly Interwoven). The selected consultant will lead the architecture and implementation of administration tools, workflow automation, and participate in a full platform upgrade to the latest vendor-supported version. This is a highly specialized role suited for a hands-on architect with deep knowledge of WCMS, development, and enterprise environments.
Mandatory requirements
- Valid Interwoven TeamSite Administrator Certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT environment as an Application Architect.
- 2+ years of development experience with each of the following programming languages within the last 5 years: XML, HTML5, JQuery, C# .NET, JavaScript, CSS.
- 2+ years of development experience within the last 5 years with each of the following OpenText (formerly Interwoven) products: TeamSite V16 or higher, Open Deploy V16 or higher, Workflow Modeler V16 or higher.
- Proven experience with the installation and configuration of at least 3 production environments using OpenText TeamSite and OpenDeploy.
- 2+ years of experience within the last 5 years, developing applications using Java within the OpenText (formerly Interwoven) TeamSite environment.
Optional requirements
- 4+ years of experience with XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and C# .NET.
- 4+ years of experience with OpenText TeamSite, OpenDeploy, and Workflow Modeler.
- 4+ years of Java development experience within OpenText TeamSite.
- 3+ years of experience integrating OpenText TeamSite with external APIs.
General tasks
- Installing and configuring OpenText (formerly Interwoven) TeamSite.
- Design and develop web-based components and administration tools based on business and technical requirements.
- Developing and implementing administration tools as required.
- Upgrade and stabilize the WCMS platform in a cloud or data center environment.
- Troubleshoot platform-related issues and coordinate resolutions with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all documentation is in place, including architecture diagrams and SDLC materials.
- Report regularly on project progress and technical updates to the development lead.
- Integrate WCMS with external APIs as needed
